Our History
eLibro began to be conceived between 1995 and 1996, when the Internet as we know it today did not yet exist. Between 1996 and 1997, the domain e-Libro.net was registered for the first time and later, in 1998, the company eLibro Corporation. In 1999, an alliance was born with Ebrary.com and in 2002 the first sale was made in Mexico.
Lic. Eduardo Varela-Cid was the founder of eLibro, and co-founder, Marcela Cejas, with www.e-libro.net being the first product created while using the eLibro/Ebrary platform.
